Q. What is wired security?
A. Wired Security Systems are hard wired into your premises using various types of cable. For example, a cable must be run from your Security System Hub to the motion detector in your upstairs bedroom for it to function as part of your security system. Whilst it is very effective in some large applications it is expensive to install and can be easily compromised if a cable is accidentally or intentionally cut.
Q. What is Back-to-Base Monitoring?
A. Back-to-base monitoring allows us to watch over your premises when you can’t be there yourself. We do this by connecting your Security System to a 24 hour Monitoring Control Room using your preferred line type.
If your security system is triggered an emergency pulse is automatically sent to the Monitoring Control Room. Professionally trained security staff will attempt to contact you within moments of the alarm triggering. If required they will send out a security officer to your premises and if deemed necessary the emergency services will also be contact on your behalf.
